As a leading edge CAD technology software, based on solid modeling, Solid Works
accurately models your component, providing a software prototype that guarantees
more accurate design results.
DESIGNING FOR THE INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS Designing a component to integrate with an application is just part of the design process. Serious consideration should also be given to the process for which the component will be manufactured. As with injection molding, certain design criteria should be met to ensure that the component doesn't experience any production or structural complications.
As for some guidelines when designing an injection molded component, Ashland has developed a list of design considerations to assist our customers in designing a superior component.
