The goods and services offered by Piedmont Hardware Brands or its subsidiaries (including without limitation Ashland Hardware) or affiliates (collectively “Piedmont,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) include the website at www.ashlandhardware.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy states the terms under which your Personal Information (defined below) and non-identifying information about you is collected and used when you access the Site or submit such information in order to receive goods or services from Piedmont.

“Personal Information” means all personally-identifiable information (including without limitation your name, mailing address, telephone number, or e-mail address) that you submit via the Site. Piedmont does not collect Personal Information unless you voluntarily submit such information to us when you use the Site. Information Gathered Automatically

Piedmont automatically collects certain non-identifying information about you (such as your movement about the Site) in order to help you navigate the Site more efficiently. Piedmont is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of such third parties websites. When linking to a third-party website, you should read the privacy policy stated on that website. This Privacy Policy only governs Personal Information and non-identifying information collected on the Site.

  1. Correcting/Updating or Removing Personal Information

The Site is not designed for or targeted to children under the age of 13. Piedmont will never knowingly collect information from or about a child under the age of 13. Any information submitted to the Site about a child under the age of 13 will be deleted. Any information that Piedmont reasonably believes originated from a child under the age of 13 will be deleted.

Piedmont has reasonable security measures in place to protect Personal Information you submit to the Site. While no computer system or server is completely secure, we believe the measures we implement reduce security problems.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, Piedmont cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information. We will retain your Personal Information and any information that we automatically collect for as long as the information is needed to provide you with the services that you request, or until you choose to remove the information. You understand that deleted information may persist for a reasonable period of time in backup copies but will not be available to others.
